HALAR COATING

HALAR (ECTFE) is a coating designed to provide excellent chemical resistance in heavy duty corrosion applications. The result is a very smooth and hard surface finish.

At M+B, we do all our HALAR coating in house to ensure quality is not compromised. Surface preparation is critical for proper adhesion of the coating, and our factory trained personnel make sure the right treatment is done before every part is sprayed with this powder coating.

We use HALAR to coat many of our racks, baskets, and certain spare parts, which can often be left in harsh chemical baths such as nitric acid strip tanks.

Our spray equipment is dedicated for HALAR coating only. This eliminates any cross contamination that may occur when you are using different powders in the same spray booth.
